In order to assure equal access to vending facility announcements and other important information about the Business Enterprises Program, to speed delivery of this information to vendors, and to reduce printing and mailing costs and unnecessary use of paper, we are happy to let you know about a service BEP plans to utilize in your behalf. It is called NFB Newsline and it will allow you to listen to BEP facility announcements on the telephone.
How to Sign Up
You can apply online by choosing the "Online Application" link On NFB's web site:
http://www.nfb.org/nfb/Newspapers_by_Phone.asp
Or, you can contact NFB Newsline directly and they will put in the application for you.
If you are currently registered with the Braille and Talking Book Library you can be enrolled in NFB Newsline by calling:

You will be asked to verify that you are legally blind. BEP can do
that for you. However, if you are a member of the Braille and Talking
Book Library, you are already on record.
Please sign up and obtain your local dial-in number and password as
soon as possible. We will continue to send out printed
announcements for the remainder of this calendar year and remind
you to sign up, but after January 1, 2009, announcements will be
posted to the MY CVPC and DOR/BEP web sites and on NFB
Newsline so you can listen by phone.
Mass printing and mailing will cease. Instead, in January we will mail
you a package of 10 blank application forms for you to use during the
calendar year should you see a facility announcement on the web or
Newsline for which you would like to compete.
